For the last 10 years Sister Size has provided its services across various hospitals, clinics, studios and homes throughout greater London. However, we now have our first Sister Size Bra Fitting Boutique based just off of the vibrant Portobello Road in West London and I am humble to say that it has been an absolute blast for its opening.

The Sister Size mission coincides with results that suggests that 80% of women in the UK are wearing the incorrect bra size. Aside from the visual repercussions, wearing an ill fitting bra can put so many women at risk of various preventable health issues. Neck, shoulder and back pain are all common indicators of wearing an ill fitting bra and some experts have even linked heartburn, skin rashes and irritable bowel syndrome to this list of complications.

Research has also shown that the early detection of breast cancer can give a person more options in the way of treatment thus saving more lives. The breast awareness message that we share during each and every bra fitting consultation empowers women to be more confident about how their boobs feel and what their normal is. If a change was to be detected they would feel more confident expressing these changes to their GP or health professional as she would be more educated about the various changes to look for in her breasts.
